There are a lot of MP3 blogs out there. A LOT.
I don’t read too many of them on a regular basis. Mostly I just check The Hype Machine every morning to see if there’s anything that seems interesting. (I should totally stop doing that, because I keep finding things that I then have to buy.)
Among the select few that I actually read regularly is Mocking Music. You may recall I mentioned them here before.
Today they had an entry that A) got me out looking for CDs by the artist Man Man who was previously totally unknown to me, and B) talks about Tom Waits (the official musical genius of Homo Sum) and Jim Jarmusch movies. That last bit was particularly timely, since we just had the 20th anniversary Down By Law screening during bachelor weekend.
