Not only is my wife an intelligent, attractive, and happy woman, with a professional career, she’s a pretty great mother too. She also does house painting, and all the yard work.
As if that weren’t enough, she’s a pretty good cook as well. This weekend for Thanksgiving she attempted her first turkey. This was also the first time we’ve used the new convection oven for anything serious–and the fact that it is a convection oven means that Trish couldn’t do any “get advice from Mom”, since neither of our families ever had convection ovens.
Here’s the result:
I confess, I was a little worried, but she knocked it out of the park, first try. This was the best turkey I have ever had. Seriously–I’m not just sucking up to my wife. Never have I had white meat so moist.
Note: I am going to make some awesome club sandwiches later this week, that’s for sure.
