Hey, get a cool book for free

OK, short notice, I know, but I should point you guys at this:

Martha Wells: One more reminder about the Free Book contest

I’m giving away ten signed paperback copies of The Wizard Hunters, and the deadline for entry is February 15 (Wednesday). Right now there are 51 entries, so the chances aren’t bad.

If you know of anybody who might be interested, please pass it along.

To enter, send an email between now and February 15 to WebAdmin @ marthawells.com saying you want to be in the contest. (Only one entry per person, please, even if like me you have about ten different email addresses.) On the 16 of February, I’ll put all the entries in a hat and pull out ten winners. The winners will need to email me their mailing address so I can ship them the books. And overseas entries are fine.

Many of the people reading this blog will know Martha Wells because I bought up like twenty copies of the hardcover of The Death of the Necromancer when it was remaindered and gave them out to anyone who slowed down around me. I mean, come on–our hero is The Count of Monte Cristo, crossed with Professor Moriarty, operating in a well-structured fantasy world. How do you turn that down?

The book she’s offering in the contest is the first of a trilogy that picks up a generation after the events in The Death of the Necromancer:
