Melbourne

I made it. Total travel time from my door to the hotel door, approximately 60 hours. All of which I was awake for.

So after this heroic journey, I rolled into the hotel, caught a shower and a change of clothes, and then went and worked a full day at the office.

I am a steely-eyed missle man.

(Apparently the psychotic visions don’t hit until 72 hours without sleep–so I’ve got four more hours before things get fun.)

So far my experience of Melbourne has been:

1) The airport. Quite efficient.
2) The cab to the hotel. Mostly listening to the cabbie yell at this sister in some Arabic language. Scenery is a bizarre combination of NYC and old waterfront Toronto.
3) The office. Just like every high tech office in the world.
4) The Thai place. Pretty bland
5) The corner store: fresh ginger, and carrot cake, along with the usual corner store stuff.

And people say business travel isn’t fun?
